Wow quick jacket production by Aero!
It took us 8 weeks to iron out the details and they told me that it would take 4 -5 weeks but then they told me last week that they were charging my card as they were going to making my jacket this week. Wow quick jacket production by Aero!
I placed an order on 10/25 for a highly customized B3 and I got an email notice today stating that it had shipped. I was expecting a month or more for production. I cant wait to see what they came up with...I sure hope it fits right (it better with all the measurements I gave them).- JLStorm

Squadron Patches
IMO putting on any markings for real military units you were not part of is just plain disrespectful to the point of being insulting to those who served. If you didnt serve, dont fake it, you need to earn the right to be able to wear those markings. If you must put something on a jacket...- JLStorm

Placed an Aero order
I just finished ordering a very customized B-3 / ANJ-4 combination jacket from Aero. Hopefully I will get it by xmas. It will be interesting to see what Aero comes up with. I too cannot wait to open that package and smell that leather!- JLStorm

Time for an A2 - Help me Guys !
Aero will let you customize just about anything on your jacket., I found ELC to be much more interested in sticking to the authentic designs when I spoke to them about a highly customized jacket. So, if customization is of importance then I think Aero wins hands down...otherwise I cant help...- JLStorm

Just out of curiosity, what made you choose Aero over ELC? I like the Aero B3 better for several reasons...but I find I'm one of the very few that prefer Aero to ELC.- JLStorm

I love hats, but have tried on pretty much every style and fit of hat and I simply do not look good at all in hats other than baseball caps (of which I have at least 40) or a russian trooper hat. However, I would like a hat that is more grown up than a baseball hat a d not as warm as a russian... -

I will post photos when I get it (I just finally placed the order last week after over 40 emails back and forth with Aero. I cant promise you will like it though...its basically an ANJ-4 & B3 hybrid with a lot of horsehide overlays and a much larger collar and windflap than usual.- JLStorm

Do I need to put any protectant on a new aero B3, or should I just wear it as is?
Do I need to use some sort of treatment or protectant on a new aero b3 before I subject it to the rain, sleet, snow, etc? I plan to use this jacket as daily winter wear, so it certainly will not be a closet queen by any means. I want it to last for many years to come...anything I need to...- JLStorm
