Reminds me of when my wife asked if we could get Foxtel (Australian subscription Tv service), I grabbed my gun went out and got her a Fox-tail... lol funny advert that video
Nothing new and to be honest I was sitting at the computer bored, looked over and thought as much as I love that Hampton it's always been a bit short in the crown for my noggin with a center crease/bash. Didn't really want to change it and had resisted thus far but I always pop the crease out...
I don't see many people wearing grey where I am, I mean there are folks who wear hats but they are all different variations of just light browns but most are light sandy colours. Gets really boring but I guess it's because of the heat/sun.
I have an extreme allergic reaction to cats, enough so that it almost cost me my life a couple times. Ain't no way I'm going near one either. Anyways, sorry for the slightly off-topic run, not a hat I'd suggest for anyone lol.
Beautiful lid Eric and a very nice shade indeed, wow and look at the weather. I was feeling a bit warm but am refreshed now after looking at your photos. Stunning hat and area, I've meant to comment on your walks and gardens. Very nice on the eye and your always looking great!
Same here, and...
I know a guy called Barry who makes this kind of hat, he's quite famous for making/wearing cat skin hats (yes you read correctly) he's often known as the Catman of Kangaroo Island. There's some interesting folk downunder, but we do have a massive feral cat problem here.
Thanks,
I like it as they remind me of the old whippet I used to like and they are easy as to wear. Dress it up or down for a work hat, "it's all good". The bar was ok, pool was fun the jazz wasn't all that good sadly but a enjoyable time was had, made the Mrs happy and you know the old saying...
Going out late this afternoon to relax 'n chill out a bit at a local bar, got some Jazz playin and they do have a couple pool tables. Wife complained I was in everyday clothes and I should change, hush.... 30 secs later I've put my glasses on and a quick bash change on the hat I was wearing...
They were working when I saw them before but same on my screen now. But it you click on them and open in a new window or tab voila! They work in other browsers though
It's warm again, think summer is gonna be a stinker but hey, whats new down here lol. Only a cheapie mesh linen Max Alexander summer lid but it's a cool 'n comfy lil bit O shade and I like it. Taking the better half out for a picnic and a bit O relaxing.
Thanks, I think I might make myself a hardwood open block to my size and redo it with less taper and a different bash. Be fun and a proper open block say a #52 maybe in my size would be very handy I imagine. I got a couple of old hats I could use to learn and practice on more, bugger think I...
Heading out to help someone with some wrangling so wearing my older Akubra with Crocodile foot band, which has been played with and refurbed. It was originally 62+ but I lost a massive amount of weight 2 years ago and it was way too big as I'm now only a 59.
Wife thought it was disgusting and...
Yup,
Brent said it well, you need to share a little more information on the kind/type of hat your after. A budget or even the intended use for the hat, hot dry or cold 'n wet, work or play etc.. Without a slight idea of what your after and a budget range it's like asking how long is a bit of...
I'm torn between the Fed IV and the CD, I'd like the better side profiles of brim of the Fed with a nice binding like the CD but a decent ribbon, I dislike the skinny ribbon.
Vent holes I don't tend to notice as a lot of hats have them down here, though I bet they do stuff all for heat 'n...
I just hope I do lol, will be passed the return date by Xmas! Least she said it's a colour I don't have yet, am certain I'll enjoy it....Just not the wait!
