Especially from 1915 - 1925~, although the 30's suits definitely do bear mentioning. They look really slick, but appear to be pretty rare. Also, the cuts of the suits in Boardwalk Empire. Are the older cuts of suits made in some niche nowadays?
Also, while they do still make single peaked suits...
It seems like that in alot of early 20th century photos, people are wearing very thick, wool jackets that look like they double as a sport jacket and coat. Is it just a different, weave, or am I guessing correctly?

I feel like this all the time. The thing is, I don't -want- to dress sloppy. It's funny how the suit is always seen as the image of oppression and conformity, yet when you wear one you're the one that's sticking out. Why can't smart, clean dress come back into style? Why have we let laziness...
I mean, it looks like one, but it has a lot of differences. Are there any clothing manufacturers that still make these? I'm talking about the guy in the upper right.
I know you can date suit jackets by looking at the union tag, but dating pants is an issue I can't really figure out. Is there a union tag on pants as well?
It has a light blue windowpane design and a skeleton lining. It's a men's coat, right? The only reason I ask this is because it can button on either side.
