    Burt Lancaster in Sweet Smell of Success. Very good film. Of more recent screen works, Gary Oldman in Leon the Professional exuded pure malice and evil all film long.

    I had thought of putting a bid down on it when the price was still around 50 bucks. Next day I find it's up to $165. Tad pricey for me.

    The Killing.

    An excellent film from top to bottom. I'm not a big Kubrick fan but I've always enjoyed this one. I would also highly recommend the similarly themed French film Rififi, released around the same time as the Killing.

    My latest Lids, if a little late!

    Those are some great looking hats especially the one from Art. Due to the apparent mutantesque size of my noggin and lack of desired brim sizes I like, my hopes of getting a vintage hat off e-bay is rapidly sinking. From the samplings I've seen here I think I'll go for a custom from Art instead.

    Hey good lookin' hat. I know this is probably a stupid question but what does it mean Dobbs (or any other maker for that matter) Twenty hat? I'm dying to get a vintage hat but need to edumacate myself first.
