    Not stupid at all! I wear cardigans a lot, too, so I've invested in a load of short sleeved cotton tricot camisoles like this one. Sooo comfortable and easy to wash :) ...erm, unless you want to wear the cardigan unbuttoned. In that case I would wear a blouse or a neutral matching t-shirt.

    Other organic brands that do bright reds are Annemarie Borlind and Jane Iredale. You could always do a patch test before you buy to see if your skin tolerates it. If everything else fails you could follow the suggestion in an episode of Foyle's War and use beetroot juice to stain your lips! :p
