Here is what I did with the Aero. I soaked it in hot water for 5 minutes or so. Then I put it in the washer to spin the water out, along with 8-10 dampened towels. Then I put it in my Maytag Nautilus dryer, on the lowest setting, with the towels, and turned on the dryer. Every 10-12 minutes...
Great idea! I wonder who can make a custom zippered sweatshirt/cotton based sweater without a hood, short enough to layer under a Highwayman or Halfbelt without it hanging out below the jacket. Every one of these I see in stores/catalogues has a hood, is a pullover or hangs down way too far.
I shot these pics indoors with just a Panasonic point and shoot, a tripod, and some editing software to enhance things. If you are talking about magazine quality photos, you will need a SLR type higher quality camera, Canon and Nikon being the most common.
I also wear a size 40, and I have a cordovan Highwayman in this leather, that I purchased from EBay. I love it. My halfbelt is the brown FQHH. Are the finishes really a wax? I was unaware that wax was used as a finish.
The Highwayman is a size 40, originally from www.kentaurus.de...

A strange coincidence, Natalie Wood is in the first movie, and Robert Wagner is in the second one. Both are in the news currently.

My first jacket was a bomber jacket, at 9 or 10 years old. My mother bought it for me, as well as 2 others for my 2 younger brothers. It seemed very tough, like cowhide, dark brown, with a dark brown G-1 styled fur collar. It was from Sears or Montgomery Wards, and I believe had a sheepskin...
I bought a near new FQHH Aero Halfbelt. It was a size too large, so I used a drawing up technique, by soaking it in hot water, then drying it in a dryer, at a super low setting, with a dozen damp towels, taking it out every 10 minutes, turning it inside out at every cycle, drawing up, and it...
