One Jewish guy's opinion
Based upon my understanding, the hat itself is not religious. Jewish men are required to wear a head covering. For some, it is a small round covering with a diameter of about four inches to cover the crown of the head. I have seen rabbis wearing multicolored knitted...
Welcome back!
At that point, Fatwoul, would you be issuing a fatwah? (The punster in me couldn't resist).
I'm kind of new here so I did not see your previous posts but welcome back! Best, Sam
Another Philly guy
Just wanted to add my name to the list of Philly guys. Oscar is terrific. In fact, the whole store is a little slice of nostalgia. The area where it is located was the center of Philly fashion back in the day.Diamonds, Krass Brothers, Al Berman, Dietz Hats, Dobbs Hats, etc...
Welcome!
Welcome to the Lounge, Steppenwolph. It's always great to have a new Mann around. Ask questions freely. The people in here are really knowledgeable and happy to share their wisdom. Enjoy! Best, Sam
It depends...

What a trifecta!
Those are three great looking hats! You really lucked out getting that grey one as a throw in! I'm envious. Congratulations and wear them in good health! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Best, Sam
Places to see
I think there are three must see places in Milan. In no particular order, the Duomo (Cathedral) especially the walk on the roof, Santa Maria della Grazie (the Last Supper is painted on one of the walls), and La Scala opera house. The train station is also magnificent.

Aging Old Rasputin
Rumblefish, I have been aging mine for about three years and it is still going strong. I think it will go another five easily. The change becomes perceptible after about 18 months. I usually buy a case of a beer I am going to lay down and start sampling at 6 month intervals...
Old Rasputin
Love the Old Rasputin! Has a very complex flavor and it ages well. After some time, the sweetness diminishes a bit and complex notes of stewed fruit appear. Yummy with (believe it or not) holiday fruit cake! It also has one of the coolest labels in the biz. Best, Sam
