    Classic train movies

Another vote for Night Train to Munich! Almost as good as The Lady Vanishes. North by Northwest too, even if the train time is limited. Would also add From Russia with Love and a number of Poirot episodes - Murder on the Blue Train, The Plymouth Express, etc

    Poirot Finale 2013

Still waiting for news on the transmission dates for the final five stories.... Can't wait. One of the best shows on tv and it's quite unbelievable that it's sustained the level of quality it has for so long

Adventurebilt hats status update (read if you have an outstanding order)

Yes I have one of their jackets and it's very nice. The key is that they're fans and their enthusiasm to get things right is clear. They're currently doing a run of special HJ 'replica'fedoras as much like the Raiders hat as possible...

Adventurebilt hats status update (read if you have an outstanding order)

Yes the Henry's beaver /rabbit mix makes it very soft and smooth. Mine had the sweat out of an AB deluxe in it for some reason and gosh, that is the softest, most comfortable sweat I've ever worn.

Adventurebilt hats status update (read if you have an outstanding order)

The Garrison hats I've seen have looked good. I'd also recommend having a look at Steele and Jones. Also great looking indy hats at a reasonable price

    Tales of the Gold Monkey

Kind of on a par with the early 80s Buck Rogers series in terms of scripts and acting.... HMV I think sold it as an exclusive a few years back

Thanks chaps. Communication was fine. I sent them a couple of photos of a suit I liked but they have a design very similar to this without the back belt on their books already. I was originally going to go for the action pleats and full deal on the back but eventually decided to keep a more...

    Gentleman's umbrella, where to find?

I purchased a bamboo handled one from them last week. Super value for money at £25 and very stylish

    Show us your suits

I finally got around to paying for my suit from Ravistailor last month (measured for it last summer!). I'm very pleased with the result although this picture hardly does it justice. Pants are high waisted and fish-tailed with 2" turn-ups. Jacket has a half belt at the back, working sleeve...

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Mark Wahlberg is certainly NOT Cary Grant! Sounds like a desperate idea. It's one of my favourite CG films after North By North West and To Catch a Thief
