The Open Road Guild
I have a couple of Open Roads, and I find them better as a more "casual" wear fedora. However, I prefer the Borsalino Lightweight more, because it has better drape and color. Here's a quick digital image of one of my faves: a dove-grey Borsalino with a black ribbon.- Craig Robertson

Summer Fedora, but no Panama
Summer fedoras I'm not a big panama hat fan myself. What I wear mostly in the summer is a light weight felt. I have a couple of older Borsalino liteweight 21's that weigh less than most straws. A Homburg? Me? In a Homburg?
I don't think that I look particularly good in a "classic" homburg because I'm too thin to carry it. However, I have a couple I wear with the front "pinched" and it gives the hat a better balance for me. I also block the brim so it drops a little in the front.- Craig Robertson
