Could you imagine if Lucas had directed that instead of Spielberg? The original print would be locked away and he'd only give us the "special edition" complete with CGI shark in all its glory.
You know, to "improve" things.
Have you seen the oil rig video? Pretty clever marketing campaign, even though I wasn't that impressed by the movie itself:

I'm bummed that the next new episode won't be until next week.
Thank God Lost starts up again this week! But why ABC chose not to rerun last season is beyond me. Not all of us bought it on DVD or wants to download it, ya' know.
Brandy or Irish whiskey in a hot, decaf tea does the trick for me...
On Heath Ledger: accident or suicide, this is a terrible loss. He was an obvious talent and certainly didn't come across as a train wreck like certain other celebs these days. I know he did a stint in rehab, but I'd be...
I didn't know she was sick, so this was pretty shocking to hear. Her best performance still has to be in the series finale of Newhart, in which it was revealed that Bob was dreaming the whole time he lived in Vermont.

Clips of Spock and Kirk would have been much more satisfying, of course.
Interesting experiment, but doesn't live up to the hype. (I felt the same way about Blair Witch.) The major problem I have with it is that I have zero interest in any of the characters. If they get killed along the way, no big loss. Come to think of it, that was Blair Witch's weakness as...
I'm surprised at the number of negative replies here. Some of you folks need to turn in your nerd cards, I fear.
(Edward, I didn't read them all, but the Dark Horse comics did have some very good story arcs.)
When in St. Louis, drop by Citizen Kane's for a helluva steak.
The best one I ever made for myself was a $20/lb. New Zealand filet I got at Whole Foods. I marinated it for 3 days in a mixture of red wine ($2 Buck Chuck), olive oil*, soy sauce, a dash of liquid smoke and 1 packet of Chinese...
OK, so who's watching Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles?
I think it's fantastic; could be this season's Lost. The TV version of Sarah Connor isn't as intense as Linda Hamilton's, but I really like what's going on so far.
If they can avoid being as simplistic as "Terminator of the...
