Alright, so today I wore my brown Taubers again. Sorry that I've posted this one before, I promise I own several jackets. I just seem to come back to this one, it's very special. Today I wore it with a herringbone Deluxeware shirt and old stock Fullcount chinos in olive.

Great to see your impeccable style resurface here.
Thanks for the kind words. It's definitely been a hot minute, but this summer has been ridiculously humid. Too miserable to even consider wearing multiple layers. Truth be told, I was sort of hoping I'd end up in the "Has anybody seen..." thread, but I figure I don't post enough to warrant an MIA.

And I have to credit all the fine folks that have shared their knowledge throughout the various threads and posted fit pics here. I'd like to think I learned a thing or two along the way that helped me improve my style.

First ever WJAYWT pic (2018) vs. most recent (2025) with same Aero 30s half belt jacket:

On a cool Bay Area morning, my Schott 618. Originally purchased in Cambridge, MA in 1976 it's been with me through thick and thin all these years. I had to replace the original Talon zipper awhile back, but other than it's all original . For many years I was in poor physical shape and not able to fit into it(it's a size 34) but I've pulled myself together and i wear it almost daily now. I have a few other Schott's in my collection, but this one is my favorite and will probably remain so.

That looks excellent now, it has formed to you so well. When new, it looked a little big without the nice drape, but now "chefs kiss".

Like others have written, it's been a long, very humid summer and frankly jackets and boots have been very "last place" in my thought process of late. Today I had reason to stop in LeClaire, Iowa, and dropped by the "American Picker's" location there. To my surprise, they had a Harley Davidson D-pocket jacket in a size 48, that they were just starting to clean up as I got there. Of course I was interested in it and snagged a few photos of it. I did Not purchase this jacket however. Here's a couple rather poor photos of the jacket in front (sorry I could not get better photos, a lot of customers around and not a good place to take detailed shots with the phone):

The lady there in the store let me try it on, and offered to take photos of it, so here it is on me, front & back, with a goofy grin and a nice fit.

It will zip-up (brass #5 Talon main zipper) but the zipper tape material was quite thin, so I did not want to risk tearing it anymore. I would guess it's a later 50's H-D, the leather was surprisingly "light" for FQHH.
