Hi Folks,

I've been a lurker for the past year and created an account earlier this week to purchase an ELMC Californian from - commodorekorns. He was a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend purchasing from him if he ever has other listings for sale.

This forum has gotten me totally addicted to Leather Jackets!! I never knew what a good leather jacket was until I discovered this forum. I have never felt more ****** wearing a nice leather jacket! Unfortunately I live in Texas and its incredibly hot here so I dont get as much wear as I'd like. I'm hopeful for cooler weather in the fall

Thank you again for this wonderful jacket. It has TOTALLY turned me onto ELMC as a brand. The quality of construction and materials is impeccable, and the fit is PERFECT at 46

Hi Bozbag!

I'd put ELMC > ShangriLa >Aero in that order - though there's lots to love about each one.

I'd note that the Aero i have is from grailed and slightly large for me. I love the jacket but I can't blame Aero for the fit. I may sell it to fund my next purchase - likely a fitted Aero Bootlegger through Thurston Bros. with a more tailored size.

ELMC is a midweight / lighterweight coat that fits me like a glove. It's crazy how good this pattern is for my body size. The quality is top notch, the leather is top notch and I plan on looking into their other offerings after I can find a way to sneak one past my girlfriend.

The Shangri La is awesome. Great hardware and little details on the jacket. The 2xl I have in vincenza horsehide is great though the fit is a little long in the sleeves and length for me, nothing crazy. It's a more heavy jacket than the ELMC and I'm very happy with the construction. The mobility is great - seems like a real motorcycle jacket.

I was happy enough to buy a second model in the Olive Badalassi. I messaged the IG account and had them revise my Olive Badalassi on order to shorten length and sleeve. I'll report back after I get that jacket end of September.

Johnson leather I have on order looks sort of like this with a couple of modifications. It's going to fit similar to the ELMC I have. I got this one split down to 2.75 oz in cordovan CXL FQHH. Eagerly awaiting this. I had a great experience working with Damon there in July and plan on working with him some more after I get this jacket back in October.

Sure thing! I have a couple of coats in mind in terms of future purchases so may need to shuffle around the collection a bit in the future so i dont go broke haha

I think quality of construction is on par. Thedi is less repro accurate and has a lot more artistry. Hand dyeing, relicing etc. Beautiful coats, I’ve got a custom in mind I’m trying to avoid thinking about !

Elmc to me, compared to the rest of my coats, nails heritage wear / repro and fits me by far the best. I can’t stop wearing this coat I got. I wore it all day today while working

Let’s put it this way - the Elmc is one of my top three coats

The thedis I have aren’t but everytime I try them on I want another thedi

I’ve been lying to my wife about my leather jackets, the obsession started maybe 3 years ago and now I own a few Aero’s, a couple Eastman A2’s and a Schott racer. I made her believe they were $200 each, we’re kind of on the same boat, I live in Arizona and wear my jackets at home making sure I rotate them and sometimes sleeping with them on, they’ve been breaking in nicely!
