Relatively new into leather jackets and first went to Aero in 2021 and this Windward arrived 5 years ago today.
A wonderful jacket and an amazing fit.. Only thing that got to me after a while was the leather....CXLSH. I think it broke me in as opposed to the other way around so it got moved on.
Got a Sheene at the same time in brown Badalassi and then was on the slope!
After quite a few experiments ended up feeling that Badalassi is the perfect leather for me so have eventually ended up with 2 jackets in black Badalassi, a Sheene and a J-106 with a KOR back.
So many jackets have been in and out over these 5 years and now about to go down to one.
J-106 is lovely..if I was younger. 73 this month and in my mind I'm starting to think I'm looking like the crusty who trying to regain his youth so am concious about wearing it more and more. Sheene is also lovely but have a hankering to go back to another Windward but in black Badalassi and I think that was my favourite jacket both in style and fit.
Looking to go down to one jacket and knock the *** out of wearing it ( they always look better then ) so both the J-106 and the Sheene are making the trip to Scotland next week when I'm up to sort the Windward out ready for their next appearance on the used stock page.....making assumptions here but fairly sure (hopeful) a deal can be done.
Fortunately for sizing they have a new 44" one in Vicenza they've put aside for me even knowing I won't be buying it and in my eyes that is Aero customer service to a T. Have a feeling the one in the pic was a 46" though.
New Windward will just have a normal leather collar.
