The forum changes over time, as does the world. Therefore, many people have lost interest in this forum.
When I joined 20 years ago, it was the same - in the Summer things would slow down then pick up in the Fall. The forum goes through cycles where activity picks up and new people join.

I remember a few old timers who posted here 20 years ago, hopefully they are still amongst us living, who don't seem to have gotten around to posting lately. Can't remember their names/IDs but some of them had massive leather jacket collections, like 50 or more jackets.

My light-colored jacket is a rc natural hh speedster that’s currently sun-tanning closer to that nice caramel tone, although it has been a slow process.

And I still wear my pherrow’s mid-weight hh hybrid caf-aviator on the bike too.

Great dye job on the deerskin shirt, looks much better in black/very dark brown?

The natural leather RC is not my cup of tea, but I would rock that Cafecto. Cool jacket!

Yeah that flat head definitely turned out a really dark brown, like a dark roasted coffee bean brown.

I was aiming for dark brown but wanted a really dark tone that would also go well with black, similar to a seal brown in that sense, so I used black dye considering the base color was tan, and I only let it sit in the dye enough to soak through entirely, I’m very pleased with the result.

And also tbh, every time I wear the natural hh, which is not often, I realize light colored jackets aren’t really my thing either hence why I dyed the western shacket, the only light colored jacket I actually wear is a light olive calfskin cafe racer, the rest are dark except for the speedster, I’m currently considering dying it dark green or letting it go.

But the one that gets more wear during summertime, although mostly not by me, is the chinese halfbelt since my gf borrows it all the time.

And the caf-aviator is in my top 5, which are all dark btw.

Nice assortment of outerwear. So, is that object on the glass table something you use to play fetch with the dogs or is it a sentimental piece just for display?

Seeing some days here start in the 50s and top in the high 60s. That’s a a real treat for mid june. Walked the dog in leather this morning. Just received this new “High low 13 oz natural indigo rinsed jacket” from freenote.
Initial thoughts:
Love the cord collar. Thats what piqued my interest.
13 oz is pretty light but there is room for it in my lineup.
I like the cut. More cropped than many 2026 type 3.
The shoulders are wide as are the upper arms. The latter may not be 70s sleaze ***y but they provide great rom and make it wear like actual workwear.
The denim is very interesting. I do think it will fade quickly though i don’t necessarily want it to.
The pockets are so shallow that they are pointless.
Overall pretty happy with it.

What a stunner!!!

I really like that one! I’d take it over the genuine Lee repros. Putting the pockets on the seem was clever and the denim looks nicer than the original LHT. And best of all they didn’t try to “modernize” the fit!!
