As most days when I need a jacket, today it's my trusty old Barbour International. I've had it for well over a decade and always forget how fundamentally brilliant it is because when I'm wearing it it just sort of disappears.

It's hard to describe. You know that feeling when you're riding a motorcycle and everything just clicks and it's like the bike isn't even there and it's just you doing it - swooping through corners and dismissing slower traffic? Like flying close to the ground really fast.

This jacket is like that. It's so intrinsically me.

TL;DR. My manky old Barbour.

Really nice abode - somewhat similar to my hang out although you have a more contemporary vibe.

Great way of putting it. I have one or two jackets like that, and I'm always searching for that feeling with every new jacket I find. Tricky part is, with leather jackets (especially new ones), you may well arrive at that point but only after a lengthy break-in… or it may never happen. Hard to know without putting in the wears.

Thank you! And you’re right haha, it’s nice when everything accidentally ties together at times. The wood and the windows really won us over with this place. Sort of a cabin-like vibe, but also a bit contemporary like you said, which used to be more so when the walls were white.
