New to me Borsalino and vintage tie.

It's about to start storming here shortly, so I'll be walking down to my local lounge in an effort to get stranded.
I'll have to survive for a while on Gin Rickeys, but I'll get by.
What ever it takes to help support the local economy.

Fine looking Borsalino you scored there. I like the proportions and the nice wide ribbon.

Sunday and Father's day I believe (let's see what happens). The hats of the week are happening no matter what else. Here they are.

Good morning Stefan, I should be in the bathroom getting ready for church, still got enough time to shave & shower though.
The Cervo Olimpic, and the tie and pocket square too, most impressive.

Two hat day 002.JPG

Once I am out of that bathroom, at Tina's request, the blazer from Fox Tailoring will be worn to church this morning, topped off with my bespoke Gamble & ***n.

Nice hats, and happy father's day!
Sunday ranking in order of preference.
I'm a little envious of seeing felts worn, here the temperature is, now 29 C and will reach 34-35 during the day

Thank you, gentlemen. Temperatures here were high enough for straw a few days, but have gone down again.
I like the quiet elegance of the grey there, Robert.

The Dalton is the winner for me. The Vaiato and Cervo are no slugs, either.

I wore my Wolfbrae Panama today for a visit to the Premium Outlet shopping centre as the rainy season went into remission for a day.

Etsuko appreciates how easy it makes it for her to find me in a crowd.

The temperature got up to 30°C, so I was grateful for the shade the hat provided. Not ideal for driving, though, so I took my cheese cutter along, too

Etsuko wore a Maxim.

After a big late lunch/early dinner, I got some exercise with a brisk one hour walk in my Tula palm leaf hat (my regular summer gardening hat).
The rice has been planted (so the mozzies are out and about).

I did a circuit of our local pond.

It looks better without my ugly mug there!

I”ll have to come back when the lotus flowers are in bloom.

This morning's choice of hats is this Royal Stetson that I recently took a chance on & boy am I ever glad I did. The seller said he was a size 7-1/8 and that the hat was too small for him, they guessed it a 7 or possibly 6-7/8... said they couldn't find any size tag. That alone probably kept the bidding low and I was able to win this one for $53.00 !!
Nothing but grins when it arrived yesterday morning and was actually a 7-1/8 that had shrunk slightly and fit me fine. "Yes sir...I'd rather be lucky than good any day ! "
Happy Father's Day to all y'all Dads...hope ya have a good 'un !

Thanks, Gary. That panama you're wearing is a real looker. I feel jealousy setting in.
