RMC J-24 VS Flat Head Double Rider

Hi everyone,

Just tried on these two jackets today in London, would you care to comment on which one you think fits better?

The RMC is size 38 and the FH is a 40. I felt comfortable in both, although the FH feels roomier in the shoulders. The J-24 looks to me like a more vintage look, I'd wear it with a shorter or tucked in shirt, the FH feels more contemporary. My indecision also comes from the fact I don't really know which would age better... the RMC is also considerably more expensive.

Thanks!
-R

I like the FH?(most right one) most because of the length(may be the photo but it looks shorter in the body). I do like the hardware on the first one more, but *** to my head I would go for the second one :)

Both looks awesome though :D

My two cents
Cheers

Yeah, I like the hardware and the back better on the first one, I think it's The Flat Head? Now I kinda want to London just to try those on.

Thanks mate, yes The Flat Head is the first one. I already have TFH cafe racer so was considering something from a different brand, but I feel like the fit is slightly better...

I’ve owned both. I prefer the leather on TFH. I have also on several occasions had zipper failures on rmc leather jackets. Both look good on you.
Thank you! I heard more than a few people complain about the zippers RMC uses...

Like the sleeves on TFH better and indeed RMC has some issues with the zipper, especially D—pocket’s one. But overall it’s a great jacket. Now want to go and try this TFH at R&H cause it looks really good on you.

Thanks! It's such a great store... I've spent too much time in there lately.

The Flat Head hands down. I just purchased the HW004 rider, it's absolutely amazing. The leather is stunning and the highest quality i've ever handled even better than the Freewheelers Mullholand and RMC bucos I own. The fit is tricky but looks like it fits you perfectly!

I love the flat head. I know some people think the sewing is not up to par, but the cut and the leather are my favorite

I vote for the Flat Head. The sleeves seems excessively long on the RMC. I have both and I am about to out my RMC up for sale here in a bit, for that reason
