I think you have tons of style, and I enjoy eveballing each and every one of our outfits. I think too, this particular setting makes for a great 1930´s hommage.
Personally I neither dare nor care for such acutely curated looks. I just mix and match what I like, and in fact the only time somebody (a beautiful girl) remarked on my "sharp outfit" I immediatley felt self-conscious and inappropriately dressed-up. That said, I enjoy people who are braver and more outgoing in that respect.

I've gotten used to both weird looks and compliments so I'm now more immune to it and I'm quite confident going out dressed how I actually want to be dressed.

For me, I think the slim arms and the "neat fit" of the RMC could be what drives the incongruous nature in my mind with the very wide leg. I just think a jacket with more "slouch" would be more appropriate for those trousers; something like an A-2 or Indy jacket. I do think the Caboose looks better of the two comparisons with the same trousers.

I agree that with these chinos, which are specifically military chino repros, that an A2 would look best with them. I'll have to take a pic of the RMC with the chinos with the cuffs done better sometime. As I mentioned, the Caboose is actually smaller in most important measurements. I think the fact that it is longer makes it look "looser" possibly.

Thanks. 1988 ford e350 7.3L idi. 4x4 conversion done back in 88 by Richardson bro’s in Oregon. 5 speed ZF ****** added to it in 2018. She’s slow but can climb like a champ.
Grizzly can be tough to pull off. Hide, hair, color and panel design can get too busy and wear the man. LW by nature can be the same imho. You’ve got it down. Look and fit are both outstanding.
Everybody needs an apocalypse vehicle that takes no prisoners. Your’s looks like it could get gone anywhere. I looked for a Quigley 4x4 diesel conversion for a good while so i could run away to parts unknown. Not to be found so i settled for a H2. I’d take yours in a heartbeat. And for an 88’...f***in epic!!
Nice pup.

They are my widest trousers. I think the leg opening might be 20" so they're wide, though this is a 1930s jackets and from what I've seen, jackets like this were not worn with slim trousers back in the day and I think they looked good... not that I'm wearing anything exactly as it would have been worn back then.

Specially this look is what you see a lot of people wearing when into leather jackets and vintage stuff:

Also... they wore the big cuffs too. Nothing is new in the way "heritage" guys wear their denim or leather jackets.

Snug jackets with Denim?

Any of these looks is basically what people into "workwear" wear on a daily basis.

Wide legs, cuffs, half belts, wool, you name it. Everything was done:

You don't dress any differently than any of those guys. They just wore it to death and that's the look a lot of us enjoy.

This thing ain't bad at a $150-200 price point. Obviously an Aero Blackened Brown Vicenza would be better, but scratching this itch in the meantime and saving some bucks.

Had to give it a serious water treatment. Mostly because it smelled like a bottle of cologne, but it was like 15% too big for me too. Took some abuse in the dryer, a good hour on max heat, and shrunk down nicely. I also moved the buttons on the wrists to give it more of a taper and tighter closure. In doing so I discovered the leather is dyed through, so not going to get any sort of break in colors. I'm guessing best case, maybe I get some fading and duller shades of black around the high traffic areas. But like I said, for now, all good.

It arrived a day early! I’m going to write up this jacket. I think Aero outdid themselves. The color is very hard to describe. It def has more evergreen in it than the last batch. Full sun pics tomorrow so I can actually see what color it is. I purposely wore a blue shirt and black pants to try and capture it at least a little bit. Let me tell you. I AM IN LOVE!

Looks like the midnight blue returned to what is was around 2018. Beautiful blue-green undertones. Didn’t Radz up in Canada have one of the first batches of this stuff? So nice. Looks great man. Perfect.

That is exactly what I thought too. It reminded me very much of the shade of his BL. I have to see it in the light tomorrow to know for sure. Was essentially dark when I opened it up. But I do see loads of green in it. I’m geeked man. This one turned out pretty darn cool.

I'm glad you really like this one! That's a nice fit, you really mastered the Aero measurement system! Can't wait to see the back design, what a clean looking jacket. I hope it's a keeper. . .
