@Marc mndt I really like your modified Idaho (also the backside!) and fit is spot on even if you mentioned this week that it's a bit tight in the chest area....at least it doesn't look like it is too tight. I know I mentioned the sleeve pitch earlier this week, but in all honesty that's just being nitpicky. I'd say the fit is 98% spot on. Adjusting the sleeve pitch would take it to 100%. This is what it looks like closed. Perfectly comfortable as long as I don't layer it with a thick sweater.

I'm sorry for posting yet another elevator mirror selfie. This 60s Schott cr just arrived. It's a great jacket but unfortunately the bottom hem is too wide for me. Therefore I'm passing it on. Now listed in the classifieds section.

Since I lack the same cultural context, the first thing that comes to my mind is a cool steampunk / engineer vibe. Definitely not some "grandpa" jacket if it falls into that category for your better half. How many of these vintage Swedish jackets do you still have in your rotation?
