With your recent clean-out, I hope you kept the Californian- it is one of my favorites.

Thanks. I still have it but haven't tried it on in a long time. It's probably way too big at this point.

This jacket is crazy cool!!! What is it? I mean, is there any other name to it? I can tell it's made around the same pattern as my MC Sears Oakbrook D-pocket, fits very similar and the collar / lapels are the same. I'd love to have this.

This is the only tag that I see in it. I'm very happy with how this worked out. I was worried it wouldn't fit but it fits great as long as I'm wearing a thinner shirt.

I'm down about 60 lbs since August.

That is truly impressive! I’ve never had to diet more than about 20 pounds and that was pretty gruesome, I can only imagine doing three times that!

Mine looks quite a bit shorter and has 4 buttons instead of 5. Maybe a variation on that jacket? Or possibly someone bought one of those and shortened it?

You're right. I wasn't looking closely enough and thought the part under the belt was more of the jacket. I looked at my jacket again and realized that it's missing the top fifth button so it looks like this is the same model.
