Yes I agree but the leather and workmanship is top notch and I actually like fashion leather jackets also. I've posted a couple of my Matchless jackets also and they got very little love lolThanks! Its Not a popular maker around here. Too much of a fashion brand I reckon.
Okay. Back to plan A. Shipped the CAL for a cream collar to Alan. The Schott collar works better on the Vanson. Collargate is done. I have learned I care too much about the winter collars. Far too much.

Agreed. I don’t like how Schott puts that little nylon strip along the collars edge either. Easier to hide on the Vanson.I like this choice better. The Cal with a cream collar will be special.
What's really special is the fur lined Cal! When does it arrive? I'm looking forward to seeing more on that jacket!Agreed. I don’t like how Schott puts that little nylon strip along the collars edge either. Easier to hide on the Vanson.
I’ve got a tracking number but no movement yet! Hopefully next week! What's really special is the fur lined Cal! When does it arrive? I'm looking forward to seeing more on that jacket!
It's 2017 October. My CHP is like Marro’s. Thick, heavy, but the stiffness is almost totally knocked out of it after a year of wear. Now, the J23, which I think was built in 2015/16, has a much stiffer hand and feel. Thicker and heavy, but it maintains its stiffness. In certain areas it has a different look up close, different feel. I’m thinking my CHP is 4 oz but the J23 is 4.5+.
F16 Shearling?? Picked this up on eBay and it's super nice and obviously very warm. First I've heard of this model but it basically looks like a B3 to me.
I have to agree. As much as I love my Eastman and no hand warmers are historically accurate. I miss hand warmers about everytime I wear it. The map pocket is surprisingly usefull though.Well, B3 doesn't come with hand warmer pockets, so at least yours is more practical for day to day use than original pattern B3 (my opinion).
