Friday I swear to God they were a thousand feet lower. They flew over my house and it shook my bones. So cool. You see them and then hear them 2 seconds later. Kind of terrifying honestly.
Not to mention the insane precision required to fly in such a formation. Gets me every time.

@ton312 at my place it's Blackhawks flying between Holsworthy Army Base and the RAAF base at Richmond. They usually fly in twos at not much above tree top height and the entire house shakes, it's ridiculous - especially at 11pm when the kids are asleep. Seems to happen every couple of weeks, there will be a bunch of flights going over three or four times through the evening.
