Coming from you that's a true compliment! Thanks! Enjoy your weekend.Great Borsalino. You wear it with class! Sharp, sharp, sharp...
Nice! I have never seen that color.Nice light grey and goes well with that great sweater.
Thanks Jim. It is becoming one of my favorites. I really like wearing homburgs as a casual hat. And it really seems to fill the bill.Lovin' that Ten, Matt! Love the liner tip, too. Mine has the standard '1817' liner. That's a great hat.

Sadly, it is going to need a new band. Dry rot has attacked the threading. I hate to replace it though. I have this thing for keeping, whenever possible, all of the original parts.
Everyone I have contacted to see about repairing it has told me that because it is an unreeded band, it is unlikely that it can be saved by being resewn in. (If anyone knows someone who might be able to accomplish that, a PM would be greatly appreciated).
Oh well...
Enjoy.

Thanks, Moon. It's kind of a yellowy mid brown, another one of those colors that's hard to capture in a photo. I love the thinness and lightness of these old Strats. The only thing thinner and lighter is the old Borsalino thin ribbons.
