Tried recreasing my FedlV
Yummy Eric!Vtg. Stetson Custom V. This grey felt struggled to show correct color this afternoon.
Best, Eric -
And here's another diamond crown style that I experimented with last summer on my backyard/landscaping John Muir basher hat. It's a 4-sided diamond with a waterdrop/teardrop raised centre.
I started playing with my Cavanagh on a conference call today. It has the most pliable felt so it's a real treat to play with. On the way to work, I wore it as I usually do, center crease, deep dents.
Hey - that's pretty cool. But I suspect there were a few more working piers (and a few less tall buildings) in 1940. Do you mind if I use that edited photo as my avatar? As soon as I saw this I thought, 'How 1940s!' So I decided to help it along.
What hat is that? Looks great.

Unique,I like it.
well done, looks good. This is one of the best threads on this forum. I'm finally contributing to it. I just reshaped my early 1980's Borsalino to a shallow 6-sided diamond crease. All my fedoras have diamond creases because that's what I'm used to seeing in movies (I almost exclusively watch American movies from the 1940's and 1950's). I'll try to post pictures of my other diamond crowns later.
Make that well done on both of themAnd here's another diamond crown style that I experimented with last summer on my backyard/landscaping John Muir basher hat. It's a 4-sided diamond with a waterdrop/teardrop raised centre.
