Knox Las Vegas today. I dont regularly wear hats up all the way round, but this little thing just demands I leave the brim alone

Thank you! Yes indeed. I did a little digging and from what I read Dobbs and Knox (If I remember correctly) were competing on who could make the lightest hats and Hankachif is the Dobbs version. This one is a hair under 90g. Some of these hats are less than 2/3 of that.

I haven’t weighed most of my hats but dress hats I have weighed are about 125g.

Another excellent week, Stefan.

I think I've found out why I can never choose a favourite. After having looked at the hats, I find myself going back to check out your jackets and/or coats. Then I go back again to check out your ties. By then, I've forgotten about the hats.

Anyway, the Hückel Prima looks exquisite. Love the ribbon and bow treatment on the Portis. The others are all stand outs in their own right.

The tie you're wearing with the 3x Stetson and Knox is my favourite closely followed by the one you're wearing with the Knox in blue.

As usual, I can't wait till next Sunday

Stetson Twenty Sovereign with suede finish hangs right next to the Casual so it caught my eye too. Decisions, decisions...what to do ? I don't think I can go wrong with either choice.

Fine weather—cold in the morning, yet still mild by midday.
Today’s choice is a hat bearing the "Cervo" brand.

It features a wide brim and a low crown, typical of many Italian hats from the sixties and seventies, though this one feels a bit more contemporary in style.

The felt is soft to the touch, with a semi-suede finish. It comes in a magnificent midnight blue, complemented by a matching felt ribbon.

Lifting the sweatband reveals that the felt is actually"Tonak – Akron Lux"—a material used for some Tonak-branded hats. Such are the complex interconnections within the European hat-making industry;

I own other Tonak hats in this same color and felt type, but this particular one made its way to Italy and was brought to market under the "Cervo" name.
