One of the more unusual things to come out of Roswell, NM...

Wool and leather and seems well made. Will be looking for something more in the straw line in an hour or two.

Have a good one,
Michael
I just found a cap in that general style Monday morning. Brown wool, short bill, but with embrodery on the bill and the band above it.

Today....thought i was done with Homburgs but i found some more.
So...for all those Homburg’ers out there...back to America with this unruly sort. I guess it did not care for it’s communal home in a bag.
This one can’t even play catch with that Resistol but it says it’s Superfine.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: thanks all for the Burg encouragements, even that “respectable” one. Lol
Maybe somebody expected you were hiding beady eyes under all the brims.

My first St. Regis, dark brown, arrived today. I'll have to Homburg tomorrow.

Cheating a bit as this is not the hat I'm wearing today but yesterday. I posted it in the Homburg Nation Thread, but forgot to post it here. I can recommend that thread if you're into or want to get into Homburgs. I bought this one from Daniele two or three years back. Thankfully, it wasn't his size.
Carlton, French. Circa very early 1950s.
I love the dimensions on this one, the simple colour combination, and the feel of the felt.
Long live the Homburg Nation

Yeah, that's a good one, Steve. It has a nice full brim and the felt rich and substantial.

Good day. This morning I was out and about in a Gannon (bone hued beaver felt). This is a perfect light weight hat for a nearly 60'f summer morning.

Eric, that is just grand. I’m really digging that bone colored felt. My bone felt from falcon park looks much whiter but maybe it’s because of the contrast of the darker ribbon. Anyway, the Gannon is really really nice.

Thanks for the compliment Jeff. Bone is a terrific light felt option. I do have a saved pic of your Falcon Park on my laptop - love it. I see in your hat post that your temps have been modest like our Minnesota temps. It is great to have daytime temps highs in nearly 65'f s of late!

This evening I am grilling a late dinner wearing a VS Stratoliner (inspired clone) in a sage beaver felt.
