Steve, Thank you!The colours and the flow of the brim and crown are something to behold, Steve. That is one nice post WWII hat.

I just found a cap in that general style Monday morning. Brown wool, short bill, but with embrodery on the bill and the band above it.This morning is a cap I found yesterday.

Wool and leather and seems well made. Will be looking for something more in the straw line in an hour or two.

Maybe somebody expected you were hiding beady eyes under all the brims.View attachment 172430 View attachment 172431 View attachment 172432 View attachment 172433 View attachment 172434 Greetings All:
Today....thought i was done with Homburgs but i found some more.
So...for all those Homburg’ers out there...back to America with this unruly sort. I guess it did not care for it’s communal home in a bag.
This one can’t even play catch with that Resistol but it says it’s Superfine.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: thanks all for the Burg encouragements, even that “respectable” one. Lol
She's a beauty.
Very nice.Running errands today wearing a Pilgrim.

You look happy in it.You always remember the first. Doesn't get much head time anymore, but this Adam heathered pork pie will always be special:

All I have is a crummy photo with poor lighting in my library. I'll take and post a better one this evening. Any specific closeups you want or just an overall portrait shot of the underside?
Great hat, Red! They do not make cool ribbons like that these days.Heading out for some errands early today before the oppressive heat hits. Early 1960s Dobbs Milan is one of my grab and go straws.

Yeah, that's a good one, Steve. It has a nice full brim and the felt rich and substantial.Cheating a bit as this is not the hat I'm wearing today but yesterday. I posted it in the Homburg Nation Thread, but forgot to post it here. I can recommend that thread if you're into or want to get into Homburgs. I bought this one from Daniele two or three years back. Thankfully, it wasn't his size.
Carlton, French. Circa very early 1950s.
I love the dimensions on this one, the simple colour combination, and the feel of the felt.
Long live the Homburg Nation

Good day. This morning I was out and about in a Gannon (bone hued beaver felt). This is a perfect light weight hat for a nearly 60'f summer morning.
Best, Eric -
Eric, that is just grand. I’m really digging that bone colored felt. My bone felt from falcon park looks much whiter but maybe it’s because of the contrast of the darker ribbon. Anyway, the Gannon is really really nice.
Very nice. I like a porker every once in a while myself.
