What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Here's my humble addition for today...a recent addition to my collection. Royal Deluxe Stetson Vogue . One thing that surprised me was the rear seam on the brim edge binding is not centered on the hat very well. For it being a RD I would have thought the quality control would have never let this hat leave the factory that way. All in all, still a beautiful hat with wonderful proportions.

It is definitely that era style though I tend to buy based on what appeals to me without always knowing the details on the hat

Anton Pichler Graz "Super", possibly mid to late 1950s and a recent find. The Form harkens back to an earlier time.

Anton Pichler k.u.k. Hof - Hutfabrikant Graz, Austria (Styria), Nov. 1, 1914 from the Gotisches Haus (Gothic House) Bad Homburg, Germany Hat Library collection. This is a fantastic collection (shortly after the start of WWI) of mostly very highend dress Velours with pricing and other information (such as quality distinctions) for the German market. Anton Pichler was one of the top hat experts in Austria (he passed away in 1925). Edward VII of England made one of his Trachten Velours famous in England. I photographed this catalog at the Gotisches Haus (Gothic House) Hat Museum / Library, Bad Homburg, January 2016.
