Thanks once more to all of you who offered your best wishes upon hearing I was laid up in hospital with a herniated disc in my back.
I’m up and about and back at work now. No pain in the back, but still issues with the nerves running down my right leg. I have a bit of tightness and pain in my right calf, and the sole of my right foot is still quite numb and it makes me tired easily.
I got home to a new hat waiting for me. I’ve long wanted a Resistol dress fedora, so was excited to find this one advertised as size 59. It has some issues, which I suspected from the seller’s photos, but I love this Kitten Finish Beaver 15. Unfortunately it is not a size 59, and since it arrived while I was in hospital, I gave the seller a good rating without having tried the hat on, so I can’t send it back.
As I say, it has some issues, and I don’t know what size it is (I suspect 56 or 57), but if anyone wants it, drop me a line and see if we can’t work something out.
I measure the opening about 19.7cm by 15.5cm or so.

Ahh... that's too bad - I've been looking for one like this in a 59 also. Very cool hat - sorry it doesn't fit.
