I like the shape on both of these. The extra height on the Resistol is a little more 30s-40s looking but both are great. Glad you are moving around. Back pain is miserable.

First, thank you everybody for your likes and kind words on yesterday's Berger of Hollywood rebuild. It's tremendously satisfying to complete a project I can then put to use and get enjoyment out of it. It's even more satisfying when you get positive comments from your friends. @Cane Rod Maker and @bond have given me tips, advice, and provided materials for me to work with and learn. I'm grateful for that. I'll never be a hatter, but it's sure fun playing the part occasionally!

Tuesday finds me under a late 50s/early 60s Portis thin ribbon.

"Portis - America's Best Value" it sez on the sweatband.
