I can't take any credit for the raking. My wife has been working on our yard the last few days and has done an amazing job cleaning it up.

Did someone say SPRING? When will that happen?? Today has already seen two hats to survey the last of the record-breaking winter remnants around our yard.
A vintage Mallory with a 2-1/2" overwelt brim, and my Black Sheep Hat which was sold as the "Hooper," if memory serves.

Oh, man. It's already happened here and not in the good way. Not even thru the 1st full week of April and we've had 2 hailstorms and a microburst festival - all with damage. And tomorrow we are blanketed with a big red area in which more severe weather (t-storms, more hail and maybe microbursts and even tornadoes are possible).

It already happened here, but rain returned.
But as a antique Portuguese proverb says "Abril, aguas mil" (meaning April is a rainy month)
