Been a very busy weekend due to a train model exposition were I've been representing my part in Train Simulation with 2 computers, one running the old Microsoft Train Simulator (with a RailDriver console) and the other running the newer Train Simulator 2015.
I didn't wanted to take a huge hat because of the confined space and to be easily recognised, yesterday I took my 4x Buffalo with me.

Today, I took this Stagecoach. Sorry for the picture but this was when I arrived home.

yes every plant is a succulent except for the Rare blue Cycad im touching which is a arid plant

Don't tell me that's your greenhouse? Nice African tree aloe (vombii?). Solid columnar cacti selection, too.
But what is the plant with the fronds you are touching?

Hi Feltfan
no not my greenhouse but you can visit as your very close to the Ruth Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek
the Cycad im touching is Encephalartos horridus Blue form & the aloes are on the ground, that's a hanging orchid cactus on my left, but there a lot of tree Aloes & huge ones in the garden
check it out a great place & a new retail nursery as well

Maybe you didn't noticed that on some posts I mentioned a hat I wore to go to the Train Association. The internet made me go closer to other train addicted people

Someone said to me that you work on streetcars but not in what or where. It should be fun as some years ago, I participated on making a Simulator for my Country's state train operator (CP - Comboios de Portugal). I was allowed to drive a commuter train (the ones we were implementing in the simulator). With like 3 or 4 runs I was able to do the 25 Kms service on my own without missing any stop and with little delay (30 seconds or less) to the timetable. It was very very fun but it also made me loose interest on the simulation itself. It's just not the same thing, but I still find it fun to test the simulation, not runing it over and over and over.

Today my interest in train simulation is to use real locomotive controllers and use them with the simulation. Currently I'm working on a CP2500 locomotive controller. Those locomotives were withdraw then scraped (only one remained to national railway museum) and we were allowed to take what we wanted.

So on those train model expositions I do the basic explanation on the train driving simulation. Some kids take interest in it, some don't and just want to go fast and crash.
