Hello, all,

After a too-warm 75-degree day yesterday, this morning is damp and chilly. To stave off rain, the VS "Tucker" in whiskey:



It's true it sported a centerdent on Art's website, and when I received it. But for it to clear my head, I had to shape it with the rear of the crown higher than the front -- which looked weird to me. So I eventually recreased it as a C-crown with a dome.

Finally had time to work on this hat. The crown was a mess, the seller squashed it down to fit in a box that was too small! I think it had issues before that but the Beaver content made this hat clean up real nice.

Bruno, I would say 40s or 50s, yes. I am not as good dating these hats as some others, suffice to say it's vintage. A lucky Ebay find from a couple of years ago.
