Alan,

Super looking specimen, what vintage do you think? If it ever gets too small again, I know a pinhead who might be able to wear it:D.

Thanks Perry... will keep that in mind. I've kept it for years because of the Kleinhans provenance. It's not like I don't have enough black homburgs... This is from the late 1930s. It has the wind trolley design with fixed button sewn through the center of the bow. Appears that Kleinhans carried this hat model for some time. The price sticker behind the sweat shows $7.50.

Wearing the brown Biltmore President at a family birthday party for my son, the huge guy to the left of me in the photo.

In a rush this Saturday a.m....David, Greg, (that's a big boy!), S-4-C, Charlie, Sam, Daniele, alan, Greg, Joao, nice display of lids guys. Everyone looks great.

I'm wearing a "not so attached to" black Stagecoach on this chilly morning. I like the hat, but I'm not so fond of the color. I'm not a black hat guy....

Greg, that is a great pic! What did you feed the boy when he was young?! :p

Joao, two beauties. Looks like the weather is a bit chilly over there.

Terry, I know you hate black hats, but that one looks great, man.

Greg the group shot is just fantastic. But, what do you feed that guy?!! My son also towers about 6" taller than me, but I still outweigh him... The Biltmore is perfect!

Terry you keep on saying you're not a black hat guy, and that's true using the old western movie standard (good guys, white hats; bad guys, black hats). But the ribbon combo on that one, especially with the coat you're wearing, really, really looks great on you, my friend.

Harv, thanks! It's good to know you've led a misguided life at some point! lol You're well on track with your hat collection lately, sir. Outstanding all week!

David the Mallory is a splendid lid, subtle color, powerful image in DJH decorum!

Hope everyone get's it done today, and can coast into the holiday week. Or tomorrow.

Harv, Charlie, Joao, thanks guys. I appreciate the comments. Although I don't care for black hats I decided to keep this one since it's one of my earlier attempts at converting hats. It's one of the hats that I reblocked using a paint can and bubble wrap.....

Excellent show of hats this morning guys.
GregNYC that's a great family pic!
Hatophile, at one to.d or other I have worn something similar to 5 out of the 6 hats in your post. I can imagine wearing the 6th, too, if enough beer were involved.

Today I'm wearing this Dobbs that I just re-creased into a diamond-ish shape from it's original centerdent.
Good thing I'm 6'3" so most folks won't notice if it's a little wonky.
