I thought of taming the aerofoils and make the brim flatter but I have some blacks already with a flat brim so this one still looks a taco hat

Elderly Stetson Cuenca. Some folks might not like the bulbous brim but I've learned to love it - snaps like alligator jaws.

AnA, CRH, Very nice lids guys! I did a little Horse Trading and came away with two really nice, like new, vintage Resistol Stagecoaches. I think they must have been stored away since the 1970s(?) when they were bought new. Neither hat looks like they've ever been worn. Both still have all the original tags attached, and the liners and sweats are perfect! They both have tall 6 1/2 open crowns. The brown one has a 4' wide brim and the silverbelly has a 3 1/2' wide brim, more pics in the "Post New Hats Here" thread. I got these hats especially for future conversion projects...(they wouldn't fit you anyway Joao. Too small for you.)

oh the Stagecoach line was sold by Resistol between 1976 and 1981.

For today this (ironically) Stagecoach in a kind of whiskey color.
