I was fiddle farting around with this cheap DP IJ woolie just for fun. It surprised me, for a wool felt, how well it came out. I'll probably give this to my grandson. It's not finished yet. I still have to sew on a ribbon and do some more work on the brim. I reblocked the crown to 4 1/2 inches tall and creased it with a generic Indy Center Dent...The brim is 2 1/2 inches wide....it actually looks a lot better than the pictures portray...more pics in the Conversion Corral...

Today a rare view of me wearing something with less than 3 1/2" brim... this Nutria. I like this dark shade of brown and the feel of Nutria felt but wish it had more brim so I would wear it more...

I feel a bit naked with it. It's one of the shortest brims I have. The Nutria felt is really something, if it wasn't because of that, I would have sold it.

It's been a muggy scorcher here in Central Ohio....Not much activity in this thread today it seems. Anyway, LarryK, g.durand, Harv, David, Joao, nice hats today Gents. In a little rush this P.M. so just enough time to post a few pics of the NDR Knox 15...I did a little tweaking on the crease so it's still drying out a little from where I dampened it
