Stetson No.1 Quality

A hat purchased from FL member Landman, who was kind enough to also include 2 new sweatbands to replace the disintegrating original... with an embossment of my initials. I had thought I would send this out to be done, but I had a free day last weekend to tackle this and I am a wiser man from the experience. I'd give my self an E for effort, better marks next time for sure.

This is the only hat I own with my initials.

Thanks Mike. I had a few Lounge friends holding my hand through this. The hat can stand a lot of manhandling, though I wanted to be sure not to destroy the 90 year old ribbon.

Too many fine hats posted to comment individually, your allstars gents. All the posts so represent fine lids it's almost embarrassing to post but since I talked my wife into a pix I will. Finally some reprieve from the Wa gloom of late so out'n about with my Black Sheep Passport. I'm going to see Bob tomorrow to pick up my new BSHW too. It was a good day for me today, scored a couple new lids and found out the new Black Sheep longhair is done.

For now I'll have to be satisfied with one of my store-bought Whippets (re-bashed). It was windy in San Francisco today and I had to tack a couple of times to keep from losing it.

I couldn't believe it, talked to Bob of Blacksheep Hatworks yesterday, and my hat arrived today, 1 day to get from washington state to texas. I absolutely love it, and the long hair western beaver felt feels like silk, super soft.
