Outstanding Beret. That one will get noticedMy little brother (who's actually a solid 6" taller than I) got me a new Elosegui beret for Christmas. This is my first new hat in at least 2-3 years.

Most excellent Dobbs Matt, and a very fine boxer. He looks like a contendah.Damned Mon... I mean Tuesday. Whatever ya call it, I don't like it.
Dobbs
Oh... Happy Boxing day. Good luck in the ring.
All spiffed up and ready to go. Looks as good as new.Hey folks!
Hope everyone has recovered from yesterday. This Brent "The Airlite" rides up top, freshly steamed and flanged.
Have a great day!

For this evening's service, I stayed with the red theme of the day. The Navy Gannon braved the freezing rain quite well. And as the story goes, Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a good night.

There are so few occasions for wearing a hat like this Dobbs. So I use the holiday to do so.
The "244 & 620 Fifth Avenue, 2 West Fiftieth Street" crest suggests an early 1920s vintage (but what do I know?).
Hope that each of you are having a swell time today. View attachment 99648 View attachment 99649 View attachment 99650 View attachment 99651

Nice Mallory!I braved the day after crowds (actually dodged them by just going to the grocery store) and am back home ready for a nap. Today is the wife's birthday, so a more formal hat for dinner, but the Mallory Aristocrat back bow from the late 1950s rode with me this morning. Have to decide on what to wear to dinner now.

Damn Jeff, that is some major damage. Warm up next to a tall cool one.At -5° atmospheric, and 20 below with windchill, I’m not taking a chance with a fancy hat. At least not outdoors. I had to change my daughter’s tire this morning, and the spare blew on the way to the gas station, so that was a foot and knee-numbing mile + walk home to get my own car and go back with a new tire.
So here’s my Carlson homburg and a bourbon barrel scotch ale “Walais” in the warmth of my duplex.
