it is a double lined wool field coat that would zip up over my nose if I zipped it all the way ... definitely a winter coat

that would indeed put me to sleep

but my original comment was actually serious ... I have very fond memories of being a child and falling asleep on the couch while my dad watched the Yankee game ... those sounds to this day are very soothing

pretty sure it was the voices of Phil Rizzuto & Frank Messer back then

I have the same nostalgic feeling about the John Madden Pat Summerall combo for the NFL ... very comforting

Not sure who made this one but the company was in what is today the Czech Republic. New Old Stock Heather Wool or a Wool / Fur blend probably from the 1930s.
