Nice one Wil Tam - good look for you.

My pics are from Saturday at our St Patrick's Parade, but these are the hats I'll be wearing through Tuesday at various functions.
The first pic is the parade, and the next is a gig we were doing on the Riverwalk. Most of the guys in the band were doing the flat cap, as were several members of the Fire Department New York City who were our guests in the parade and at the bar. The last pic is one of our pipers doing his own gig at another place, where we played pipes in support. Sorry for the quality of the wide shots, but phone camera+St Paddy's Diet= bad photos. The fire engine is vintage fifties, as is the fire helmet on the far right ( cut out mostly... )

Here you can see two of the FDNY guys hats. About six of the fifteen or so guys hat them - what looked most likely to be Hannah -

Stetson Windham. It has a combination bound and over-welt brim. (The only model I've ever seen with that treatment.)

I have this one in black. It's the first modern Stetson I was actually impressed by, mainly for it's originality. It garners many compliments, too. Good show!

I love that hat. It would look so tiny on me, but it's just right for you.

I agree. Great color, Bolthead. :eusa_clap

Gene, I am envious and wish I could wear a straw today.

IC, love that wide ribbon. Looks great!

Douglas, I also wore a Stetson 3x today...
