J.T., I've got a dark grey Champ in the same stye. I'm looking forward to giving it some air as well!

By the way, I've been wondering... do you have a professional photographer on retainer who stops by and takes your hat of the day photo for you every morning? Your pictures are great--and so are the hats! :eusa_clap

Thank-you for the kind words. The back-drop is mine. The pictures are self-portraits, using a modeling light at an angle, and the on camera flash. The digital camera is set on a tripod. A ten second timer allows just long enough to get in place. I take several poses, and go for the best one.

Lest you think I'm a megalomaniac, The studio set-up is because I'm currently shooting pictures for our church directory. I just thought I'd take advantage of it for a few posts. It's been fun. :)

And Gene, I, too, wore a run-of-the-mill Open Road, a Royal De Luxe, likely from the '50s, today. (Wonder if I can fit one more comma in there? :p ) Mine's a bit af a beater but I don't think I'll do too much with it except tighten up the pinch a little.

That's right - the beater the better!

Wore a run-of-the-mill Open Road today. It's probably a '50s number and is pretty soft and broken in. A hat that begs to be worn about once a week.

Tango Yankee, That's got to be the cleanest beater I've ever seen!

daizawaguy, Great hat. Fabulous shoes!

Carter, Many thanks for the fine compliment.

Jabos, That Royal Stetson with the blue striped suit is a super classical look.

JTL, I'm really admiring that Week-Ender.

Three pages of nice hats; as usual I'm way behind on the weekends. Douglas, that one has a look to it that makes you want to touch it, just to feel its softness. Very nice.

Wow....

I haven't posted here in a while. I'll bet there's at least 3 or 4 pages that I had to look back on.

Too, too many to list, but I think you all know who you are. ;)

I wore this Mallory out to lunch today, what a nice day today here in the Mts' of PA.
