By the way, I've been wondering... do you have a professional photographer on retainer who stops by and takes your hat of the day photo for you every morning? Your pictures are great--and so are the hats! :eusa_clap

Thank-you for the kind words. The back-drop is mine. The pictures are self-portraits, using a modeling light at an angle, and the on camera flash. The digital camera is set on a tripod. A ten second timer allows just long enough to get in place. I take several poses, and go for the best one.

Lest you think I'm a megalomaniac, The studio set-up is because I'm currently shooting pictures for our church directory. I just thought I'd take advantage of it for a few posts. It's been fun.

And Gene, I, too, wore a run-of-the-mill Open Road, a Royal De Luxe, likely from the '50s, today. (Wonder if I can fit one more comma in there? ) Mine's a bit af a beater but I don't think I'll do too much with it except tighten up the pinch a little.

Wore a run-of-the-mill Open Road today. It's probably a '50s number and is pretty soft and broken in. A hat that begs to be worn about once a week.
