Thanks for the comments on the Stratoliner today, guys!

Nice to see you, J1 - you wear the Adam very well indeed.

gd - hard to beat the Campdraft when the weather gets wet.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, everyone!

I'm behind today, but I did get a chance to snap this - Roche 100X in front of the Empire State Building shopping corridor with holiday lights in my face!

g.durand, Greg, sharp looking lids guys. You both look great.

With the colder weather I broke out one of my favorite Fall / Winter "go to" hats....once again, my Resistol Indyesque conversion by John Galt

This is my other favorite Fall / Winter "go to" hat, another John G. conversion. Stetson Nutria....again,

Yesterday I arrived at home so tired that I forgot to post the day picture.
I enjoyed so much the Akubra that I wore it yesterday again.

I saw excellent hats with rain and snow. Thanks all for posting.
This morning visiting my father in his new home in the medium Alps that circled in the north Verona I took some photos

For all wine lovers, here we are in the north of the Valpolicella home of the same wine and Amarone and Recioto.
At these altitudes, close to 1000 meters above sea level, the vines do not grow.

Thanks Greg but let's face it location is everything. My pic is from my backyard and your pic is from the Empire State building, that is just too cool. Location, location, location.

Thanks Steve.
These are the first Alps after the hills north of Verona. In the backgroud from left : Corno d'Aquilio (1.545 m s.l.m.), Corno Mozzo (1.440 m s.l.m.) the border between Veneto and Trentino AltoAdige.
This is the northern part of the Valpolicella, the valley of wines.
