What'd I wear? Nothing. I went to the movies tonight and as I started to drive off I realized I forgot my hat. Prior to tonight, I can't remember the last time I left the house without a hat. Not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Our capricious weather

...having a 55 degree DROP in temps in a 24 hr period- complete with snow, winds, sound & fury, I wanted to be prepared so I wore my Columbia Sports double tough. It make the densest Akubra look like Kleenex. Ok, maybe not, but it is one resilient piece of work. It may well be an Akubra, Bardsley or Dorian, that kinda' tough felt. I called Columbia to ask about it & they were unaware they had ever marketed a brimmed felt hat. :eusa_doh: No help there. Anyway, I had to test some lighting & the equipment wasn't yet ready, so I tossed my hat De jure on my water bottle & blasted away!

Made to pin up on the left. It came w/ a pug & I replaced it with a fairly nice ranger band from WPG.

I love the colour of that Dobbs Joao, and the long hair looks good

Lovely velours Steve and Garrett

Gorgeous Dove Michael

Very nice Justin.
You have a kind of Depp/Pharrell look going on with that one.
And I mean that in a good way. It looks really cool on you
with the brim having the 'worn' look.

:arated:

Rick - that does looks a tough old beast. I like it.

Thanks everyone for the comments on my Tumwater from yesterday. That was my first custom hat, a few years ago now, and it remains a favorite.

Back to vintage today - grey Dobbs 20. I've noticed a few of these around the lounge of late. Good quality and usually can be found at decent prices too.

Thanks for the comments on the Max everyone. I'm leaning towards brim up myself recently except when its sunny and I need the sun protection.

I'm loving all of the velours that were posted yesterday.

I like that Mallory Charlie.
