Today I played dress up with my 15 year old daughter. I wish I hadn't cut off her Cat in the Hat T-shirt. Lee Trinity that I've had for a long time. A few other dress-up pics here.

My Penman Raider around Christmas

These weren't today but they are close. The first is Christmas Eve(afternoon if you want to be technical), last minute touch up shopping in Portland. OR.

This my wife & I on Monday before we had to fly out for home. It is up at the Multnomah Falls up on the Columbia River Gorge.

Needless to say the Penman got plenty of rain this last week up there and is none the worse for the wear. It's actually looking better and more familiar.

I think that's a great hat too. I like the color. The lighter browns are not common in vintage hats, and they add a warmth to the wearer that otherwise wouldn't be there.

Thanks, gents, for the nice comments on the VS Whiskey. That lid really brings back fond memories of FedoraFest II in Monteagle -- which, of course, featured a visit to the Dickel Tennessee Whiskey distillery, as well as hikes along trails that may still be home to a stray arrowhead or two...
