Happy to oblige, I strive to entertain through my self portraits so glad I could elicit some joviality :)

Other than that I can only second the sentiments brought up by bolthead, I thoroughly enjoy the decadence in that picture of you on the divan-like chair.

Thora Zine, where do you live in Ireland? It's such a beautiful country (and you are a beautiful lady too!).

I did a summer program while in high school and got to spend 2 summers (6 weeks total) in Bundoran, Co. Donegal. It changed my life. Ireland is definitely one of my favorite countries.

Aww, PT, thanks!

I live in Galway, been here for two years and I don't think I'll ever leave! I love it here so much. I haven't been up there yet, but the first night I was here I met a lad from Donegal, what a character! He told me my fortune for a 5er and we ended up chatting the night away.

Think you'll ever make it back?

I think we actually visited Galway! You're lucky you're surrounded by Irish men, they are quite the charmers!

I am hopefully studying abroad next year in the Netherlands, and my boyfriend is planning to visit me and we're probably gonna make a little trip to Ireland. My great-grandparents on my mom's side were from there, so I think it would be nice for him to see where half of my family comes from.

Some new attire, I've always been weak for entirely black outfits.

On a side-note, I really need to trim my beard down for the summer.

Thora,

Apparently this one's for you... :D

The Galway Girl
(Steve Earle)

Well, I took a stroll on the old long walk
Of a day -I-ay-I-ay
I met a little girl and we stopped to talk
Of a fine soft day -I-ay-I-ay
And I ask you, friend, what's a fella to do?
'Cause her hair was black and her eyes were blue
And I knew right then I'd be takin' a whirl
'Round the Salthill Prom with a Galway girl

We were halfway there when the rain came down
Of a day -I-ay-I-ay
And she asked me up to her flat downtown
Of a fine soft day -I-ay-I-ay
And I ask you, friend, what's a fella to do?
'Cause her hair was black and her eyes were blue
So I took her hand and I gave her a twirl
And I lost my heart to a Galway girl

When I woke up I was all alone
With a broken heart and a ticket home
And I ask you now, tell me what would you do,
If her hair was black and her eyes were blue?
I've traveled around I've been all over this world
Boys I ain't never seen nothin' like a Galway girl

Yes, yes they are .. :)

You really should make a trip over again with your beau, when and if you come, let me know I'll take you kids out for a pint!

I'm terribly slow at doing anything with pictures. Or taking them, for that matter.

This was back in January or February.

And these document my first attempt at using sponge rollers since elementary school, on much shorter hair, and with setting lotion. Nice big mirror, but the light is rotten. My hair is blonde/brown with a tiny, tiny bit of red, and the dress is blue and white, not black and tan.

Especially the last one - very nice dress too. But your expression takes it all;)

Whoops, missed seeing this. It was the first modern dress I've bought in years that actually fit. Score! Expression, though? Hah, that one was saying, "Hmm, I don't like the hair so much from this angle! Oh well. I'm stuck with it for the day." lol

My first "professional" acting gig was in Auburn, Washington! The Avenue Act I Theatre. (Is that place still around?) I played Bogey in "Play It Again, Sam!" I miss the Pacific Northwest. If I could pick up the film industry and move it anywhere in the country, I think I would put it down in King County!

Private Eye -- Since your office isn't up here you will jyst have to take a trip up for an event. That is really keen. I am not sure if that theatre is still around, now I will have to google it and take a drive by. Hollywood in King County....I guess movie stars could do way with their tans if it was up here!
