Hey Marlowe, I would love to see a bigger picture of that! Looks great from the thumbnail!

You're lucky; I only look okay from the knees up. I don't own a pair of dress shoes, or socks that aren't white tube socks. I know, I know, but I am a penniless college student. [huh] I'll fix this when I get the chance, but since I get almost all my clothes from thrift stores it'll take a while to find my size...

What sucks is that I found a pair of very nice dress shoes in an antique store, and they were one size too small.

Keep at it. I bought those shoes in a consignment store last week for $18.

You can do something about the white tube socks. ;)

This is becoming my typical outfit for camping, hiking and the like, yet it's something that I can just wear every day too.

Akubra, custom glasses, and an old dress shirt that breathes well in heat and sheds dirt easily. My "field khakis" with a web belt and my vintage work boots.

Like everyone else, I love Alan C's shoes.

When I look in the mirror today (with the topcoat and hat on), I see: a businessman of the 1950s. Which pleases me.

Jos. A. Bank white button-down shirt
White/black contemporary rep-striped tie
Silver tie bar, angled down
Black silk pocket square, points up
Waterman blue marble silver-capped ballpoint pen, shirt breast pocket

Swiss Army watch with black band (right wrist)
Polished stainless steel link bracelet (left wrist)

Todays outfit.

I haven't been able to post a few pics for awhile now. Here's a few quickies from today. Thanks for viewing.

The Suit is a post blue with a pink stripe. The camera doesn't do it justice. The tie is English made.

P1010079-2.jpg

Pink threaded lapel hole to match the stripe.

P1010083-2.jpg

It is a vested model. The pocket watch is an Elgin circa early 1900's

A different photo angle of our shop. Just getting ready for spring (hopefully soon).

I love the deep blue of these links.

Hey Marty, is that jacket double-breasted? Because, if it is single-breasted...then those are the exact lapels that I want...

Hi Jerekson,
It is a double breasted vested model. I'm not sure why I made a DB Vested suit, but I did.
