On A Steamer Coming Over - Meyer Davis & Orch., November. Charlie Palloy played guitar and sang with the house ork at Crown Records. After that outfit folded, he made just this one vocal chorus and disappeared forever. He coulda been a contenduh!

It Was A Night In June - Anson Weeks & Orch., May. Good singer's tune, and one of the few 78 sides I can recall where there is real question whether the vocalist is male or female. :eusa_doh: (Things like this happen when good music gets thrown on the ash heap of history.)

I'll Build A Nest - Bert Lown & Park Central Orch., May. An example of a big shoutin' band toning it down just a little for deep depression conditions. Art Rollini gets off half a tenor chorus; brother Adrian only gets a bridge on the bass sax. He's lucky he wasn't living in the case.
