Just realized I’ve never posted this one here.
The rarest and oldest jacket I’ve ever had: Schott/Beck 222-B from the ‘30s, with double label.
Unfortunately I had to return it to the seller because it was TRASHED: main zipper needed replacement, belt was ripped, sleeves was unstitched up to the elbow… It was a mess.
But what a jacket.

2 1950s Dur-o-Jak crosszips, by Schott: two rows of French seams on each side below the arm pits and a row of French seams on the arm. Insane back grains for the first jacket, long striations look horse.

I have this exact pattern schott with no model label, but has the schott Cactus label... does this age it? Can I wear it? It is perfect condition but seems rather old. Incredibly nice steerhide. About to to put some obenauf's leather oil emulsified in distilled water to get it stabilized if it is to dry. I want to wear it and do it safe.
