The main thing that keeps me here, other than being born here, is that we're fifty miles from the nearest Starbucks. If you want a small coffee or a large coffee here, you order a "small coffee" or a "large coffee" --none of that dopey "venti" and "grande" foolishness.
Once I was in a Starbucks (which I hate to admit) and the girl working the counter translated what I was saying so I switched to ordering in Italian. She was really confused after that.
Of course the paper cup had more flavor than the coffee.
