If I wore 1 different hat each day, I would need more than 2 months to rotate all.Wow, but don't you need one for each day of the week? (-:

Those are beautiful! This must be the most colors of long hairs photographed at one time! That nutria and the rusty look very unique. I like every one of them. All my fuzzies.
From top to bottom
Stetson Real Nutria with 3 7/8" brim ("kind" of brown/goldish)
Resistol Panda with 4" brim (silverbelly)
Stetson 5x of something with 3.75" brim (camel)
Thoroughbred 10x with 4" brim (Rusty)
Stetson 5x of something with a 3 7/8" brim (dark brown)
Thoroughbred 10x with a 3.75" brim (gray)
The Nutria is amazing. The rusty is something else in the matter of color. Those are beautiful! This must be the most colors of long hairs photographed at one time! That nutria and the rusty look very unique. I like every one of them.
They should be on your headAll my fuzzies.

I've never owned and American Hat and only have one Biltmore and one Beaver Brands but none of them are grizzly fuzzies. You know I’m with you on the Grizzlies. I’m down to three from the eight I had at one time. Have yet to own a Stetson or Resistol one however, only American, Biltmore, and Beaver Brand

I think Thoroughbred is a Beaver sub brand.I've never owned and American Hat and only have one Biltmore and one Beaver Brands but none of them are grizzly fuzzies.
Very cool!Silver is a Biltmore Grand Beaver grizzly, ultra tall crown 3.5” brim I have suspicions that it’s a pure beaver. And the black is an American 4x grizzly (the vintage model) 4” brim tall crown.
Awesome! Don't see many like that.Silver is a Biltmore Grand Beaver grizzly, ultra tall crown 3.5” brim I have suspicions that it’s a pure beaver. And the black is an American 4x grizzly (the vintage model) 4” brim tall crown.
Slid my new denim Resistol ball cap in the background to stay topic relevant

I am no expert but my guess would be early 80s. The model tag looks like one in a Resistol that I have, that is definitely late seventies, early eighties. The sweat looks just like another Resistol that I have from the early 80s. Also the size tag does not list metric size, leading me to believe early 80s. Although I am unsure when they started including metric size on the tag.Would any of you be able to give me more information on this Resistol "Concho" hat? I was told it was purchased in the early 1980's but the tag behind the lining possibly indicates that it was actually made in May 1995? This is my first Resistol so I know very little about the company and I can't find any information on the "Concho" western model.

Yes, It is good qualify felt. Resistol seemed to maintain quality later than some other manufacturers. You have a nice hat there, much better than what is being sold today in western stores. Thanks Desert Dog! Would you say their 4X Beaver felt rating from back then was still good quality? That same rating today would hardly get you any Beaver at all.

Sounds like you got a killer deal on a nice hat. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with it.Thanks a lot! I got it for a steal! Just $20! I'm reshaping it right now and will post pics of it when it's done. I wish I could find a Resistol fedora in my area but hats were never very popular in Canada, outside of Calgary, Alberta which is the cowboy capital of the Great White North. I'm jealous of what you Americans can find in thrift shops. All we have here are tuques!
Here is my Resistol Topeka after some steaming and reshaping. The last two photos are auction photos, before reshaping.Sounds like you got a killer deal on a nice hat. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
